- If you'd like a patient or requestor to confirm an appointment, when scheduling the encounter check the box "request confirmation" next to 'invite via SMS/email'. Patient/requestor will receive the usual invitation via SMS/email, and the following sentence and link will be automatically added at the end of the invitation: "To confirm appointment, click on [link specific to encounter]. To reschedule, call [institution phone number]"
- Prior to using this feature, please make sure the institution phone number is accurate. Please have the admin of your institutional account click on "Settings" on the top nav bar, then 'Account'. Enter or confirm the institution phone number.
- Once you check the box "request confirmation" and create an encounter, you'll see a gray check mark next to the date/time on the "Call status, Date/time" column.
- If the patient/requestor clicks on the link to confirm appointment, the gray check mark will turn green
